There is truth and falsehood, naturalness and artifice, in other words nature and humanity. Accompanied by their ficus, four individuals question the fundamental lie that is theatre, where everything is fiction and yet very real. On the stage, slaps are handed out, kisses are stolen, confessions are revealed, and we embark on the improbable unravelling of what is true and what is false, of what works and what doesn't with an audience... In short, the experiments follow one another, generating paradoxes, and the spectator, led on a humorous journey with multiple drawers, is invited to see things for what they are and not as he or she imagines them.
Plantes is a great breath of oxygen and laughter, which makes the slightly absurd existence, inspired by real facts, take on a new dimension, leaving room for real magic; but... how can we be sure that all this is true?

Sabine, a memory restorer, takes you to the SARA laboratory which is opening its doors to the public for the very first time. In this very strange place, with a futuristic atmosphere, you will meet Anastasia, an archivist at the office of lost memories, Frida, a security guard within the company, a dancing memory, a puppet, the inventor Moustache and many other mysterious things...

Today, a secret cell of our movement has executed a successful worldwide operation.
We hold the victory in our hands and our overwhelming march is on the rise. We will triumph and fight the infidels.
Our brothers and sisters are among you. Inconspicuous. Invisible.
We are many.
We are global
We are TM*.

‘The best way to rob a bank, is to own one’ — William Crawford, Commissioner of the California Department of Savings and Loans
You can read 'lies' in the title, or 'eyes',
or Pound, Yen, Euro and Dollar.
anyhow, whether falsities or currencies, it's about money.
Ontroerend Goed invites you to get under the skin of the well-to-do
the 1%, the super rich
the ones who pull the strings,
the faces we never get to see.
For one night, you can take their chairs.
You call the shots.
You're in the centre of our economic system.
You shape the course.
And who knows, you might make the world a better place,
more fair, more responsible,
because you'll do things differently, for sure.
After the Personal Trilogy (The Smile off your Face, Internal & A Game of You), which tested your self-knowledge one-on-one, and the confrontation with your voting behaviour in Fight Night, Ontroerend Goed aims at what you truly value: Money.
Many experts say that if we realised what money really is, there would be a revolution. The whole system would implode because the trust, which is essential, would melt away like snow in the sun. Ontroerend Goed invites you to get around the table and play the system from within.
P.S. If you come, please take some money. Cash, because we don't trust the pixels on your screen that tell us how much money you supposedly possess.

"£¥€$ (Lies) isn’t just a clever historical and psychological analysis of the high finance world, it’s also smart, fast and incredibly exciting theatre."
De Morgen - Evelyne Coussens *****
"You may be a weak campaigner for a healthier planet, you may be an apostle of sustainable development at weekends, you may give money to ATD Fourth World to eradicate poverty, you may be offended to know that Facebook, Apple and the others do not pay taxes in France, Turn off your TV when a famous swindler plays the victim, you may not understand anything about banking transactions, but there, at the table, in spite of everything, without understanding it all, you get into it like crazy, you become carnivorous, you become a killer, you are, in spite of yourself, a cow enraged by greed. You have a few bursts of civic-mindedness, but very quickly you are swallowed up. Of course, you reassure yourself that it's only a game."
Mediapart - Jean-Pierre Thibaudat

Brandon is a 16-year-old boy who thinks he can exist in the eyes of others only by owning fashionable things.
Unfortunately, being the son of a working class man and the brother of a garbage man, he doesn't have the social status he so much aspires to and calls himself a slob envying others. But to be with Valentine, the most beautiful girl in the world according to him, he is ready to do anything! Even taking his father's credit card...
Caught up in reality, he has to earn money to make up for his mistake and become for a while what he despises the most: a garbage man. This experience will make him question his consumption and change his relationship with money. He will then realise what is really essential.
